BREAKING: Baltimore Ravens Sign Lamar Jackson To "Mega Extension"

Lamar Jackson has his deal, and is now the highest-paid player in the league.

According to multiple sources, the Baltimore Ravens and star quarterback Lamar Jackson have agreed to terms on a five-year contract extension, worth $260 million, exceeding the recent five-year, $255 million contract signed by Jalen Hurts,

After months of rumors and speculation, Jackson will be staying right where he's spent his entire career.

This extension comes as a surprise to many, given that Jackson had requested a trade earlier in the offseason. However, his past successes, including being named the NFL MVP in 2019, highlight his enormous value to the Ravens.

Despite experiencing regression and injury setbacks in the past two seasons, Jackson's dual-threat skills on the field make him one of the most dangerous players in the game.

The Ravens have also made changes to their offensive coaching staff, potentially opening up Jackson's passing game even more, especially with the addition of Odell Beckham Jr. as well.

At only 26 years old, Jackson's long-term extension secures him as a valuable asset to the Ravens and one of the premier quarterbacks in the league.

After months of unrest and rumors, it's fantastic news that the Ravens and Jackson were able to come to a mutually beneficial agreement.
