According to sources, head coach Bill Belichick has reportedly shopped Jones around to multiple teams, including the Las Vegas Raiders, Houston Texans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Washington Commanders.

It has been suggested that a trade may still happen, particularly if a team is unable to land their desired quarterback in the upcoming draft.

These rumors come after reports that Belichick was displeased with Jones seeking external help to improve the team's offense during the 2022 season. However, these reports are unconfirmed, and it is unclear if the Patriots organization actually intends to trade Jones.

In fact, a previous report indicated that a trade involving Jones would only happen "over Robert Kraft's dead body," suggesting that the team may have a strong attachment to the young quarterback.
