NFL Rumors: Veteran Wide Receiver Meets With Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans are facing some uncertainty this offseason with trade rumors surrounding Derrick Henry and questions surrounding Ryan Tannehill's future.

However, the team's most pressing concern is their wide receiver position. The Titans' lackluster performance from their WRs in the 2022 season has made it a top priority for improvement before the upcoming campaign.

Currently, Treylon Burks is the only lock for a starting position, leaving the rest of the wide receiver group filled with young players and rookies.

To address this issue, the Titans are reportedly exploring the market for veteran help and have scheduled a meeting with free agent Chris Moore.

Moore has played for the Houston Texans for the past two seasons and had a career-best season in 2022, catching 48 passes for 548 receiving yards. While he may not be the most elite wideout in the league, his production last season shows potential.

Furthermore, since the Titans' WR room is mostly inexperienced, it makes sense for them to show interest in the 30-year-old.

With 116 career catches for 1,286 yards and eight touchdowns with the Baltimore Ravens and Texans, Moore has experience and skill that could benefit the Titans.

While he may not deliver an All-Pro performance, he would still be an improvement over the current roster options and a valuable depth piece for the team. Photo Credit: Christine Peterson/Telegram & Gazette / USA TODAY NETWORK
