Philadelphia Eagles Officially Hire Former Lions Head Coach

The Philadelphia Eagles were moments away from Super Bowl glory just a few months ago, and ever since that moment, they've been making many solid moves in order for them to make it make to that moment once again in 2024.

Now, they've made a surprising one, as the Eagles have officially announced that former Detroit Lions Head Coach Matt Patricia will be joining the team for the upcoming 2023 campaign, serving in a senior defensive assistant role.

And now it is official: Eagles have hired former Patriots’ assistant coach Matt Patricia as their new senior defensive assistant, per sources.

In his role with the New England Patriots, Patricia has found some solid success, but over the past few years, has been serving in positions that do not suit his strengths, so perhaps now working with one of the best defensive units in the NFL he can turn it around once more.
