New York Jets Release Veteran Offensive Lineman

The New York Jets have made some fantastic moves these past two off-seasons, and are now poised to take a massive step forward with six prime time games in 2023/24, but after a solid 2022/23 campaign, one key offensive lineman won't be back with the team.

On Thursday, the Jets officially released veteran offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi, who they acquired last season, but after appearing in a few games, it appears the team are satisfied with their depth even without him on the roster.

The former first-round pick has played in 60 games, starting 57 of them since his debut back in 2015, and while he's likely never going to be the star Cincinnati had hoped they drafted, he's a solid role player and will no doubt find a home in the NFL this year.
