Seattle Seahawks Sign Veteran Edge Rusher

The Seattle Seahawks had a fantastic 2022 campaign against everybody's expectations, and now after another fantastic draft class, they're expected to be genuine contenders in the NFC, so adding low-cost veterans is the best move for this team right now.

That then is exactly what they did on Thursday, as the team added to their pass rush with veteran Mario Edwards, who spent his 2022 season with the Tennessee Titans, and with another solid 3 sack season, his production has no doubt stayed consistent throughout his NFL career.

In his eight-year career, Edwards has racked up 19.5 sacks, 135 tackles and 5 passes defended, so while he likely won't be a star in Seattle, he should contribute to a team looking to take the next step yet again in 2023.
