Buffalo Bills Rumors: Defensive End Becoming Trade Candidate

The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for the 2023 season with high expectations. However, they may be making some changes to their roster before we get there, as reports are surfacing that the Bills could be open to moving Boogie Basham for the right price.

Basham is a former second-round pick who has had trouble cementing himself as a full-time NFL player in his young career. In 15 games (which included zero starts) this past season, he recorded one interception to go along with 2.0 sacks and 19 combined tackles. Overall, he had some decent moments, but it ended up being a fairly quiet year.

When noting that Basham still has good potential, there should be teams out there willing to take a chance on him. Perhaps a change of scenery to a weaker team could allow Basham to receive a bigger role and help him take that next step in his development.

We will need to wait and see if the Bills decide to move Basham, but this is something to keep a close eye on from here.
