Dertroit Lions Swing Trade With New York Jets

As training camp begins around the NFL, teams will begin locking in their rosters as they look to dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs as Super Bowl Champions in 2023, and two teams that look to be on a rapid rise are the New York Jets and Detroit Lions.

On Wednesday afternoon, the two teams swung a solid deal, as the Lions landed former second-round pick Denzel Mims as well as a conditional 7th round pick in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round pick, adding another potential weapon to this very fun, talented offensive group.

In three years with New York, Mims failed to solidify himself as a valuable piece of this offence, tallying just 42 catches for 676 yards over those three seasons without a Touchdown, but perhaps in a contract year with a new environment he can finally reach his potential.
