Report: New England Patriots Standout Rookie To Miss Significant Time

 

The New England Patriots are off to a poor start in 2023, posting just a 1-3 record through four games, and now, they've suffered a massive loss to their defence, as they have now learned the fate of one of their star rookies.

Unfortunately, the recent trade for JC Jackson was revealed to be necessary due to a torn labrum for rookie Christian Gonzalez, an injury that will likely force him to miss the remainder of the 2023 campaign after a promising start.

Through four games, Gonzalez has been one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, tallying 17 tackles, one sack, one interception and 3 passes defended, and with the season potentially lost unless things change for New England, they'll be looking to 2024 for him to have a big year for them.
