NFL Rumors: New York Jets Tried To Acquire Big Names At The Trade Deadline

The NFL trade deadline for 2023 came and went yesterday, and while there were some surprisingly big moves made, there wasn't the blockbuster deal that we've come to see, and now, we may know why this was the case.

According to a report, the New York Jets tried their hardest to land one of two superstar wide receivers in Davante Adams and Mike Evans, but unfortunately for them, both teams told them that neither star was available to be had.

With the rumoured, potential return of Aaron Rodgers this season, it was clear the team were looking to go all in with this group, but now, it appears they will be relying on the group of Allen Lazard, Garrett Wilson and Randall Cobb as they look to break their NFL record playoff drought.
