Generally, the NFL tends to keep a tight lid on the compensation of its coaches, so exact terms of Sirianni's deal aren't presently known. In any case, his deal will have guaranteed compensation and thus job security for years to come. We’ve agreed on a multi-year extension with Head Coach Nick Sirianni ‼️ pic.twitter.com/K094MmJ0fR

Sirianni is a perfect example of how fickle fans, media, and even ownership at the NFL's highest levels can be. It was only last offseason that the Eagles were clearing house of lesser coaches after a disappointing 2023 season. Rumors even circulated that Sirianni could eventually lose his job to New England Patriots legend Bill Belichick.
A year later, Sirianni should be considered one of the best (and most secure) head coaches in the league. With two Super Bowl appearances and a win in four seasons, the Eagles have become one of the league's preeminent franchises. Sirianni's .706 winning percentage is the best in franchise history, and the best among all active coaches.
Still, the Eagles are in a delicate position, even with a shiny new Lombardi Trophy on their mantel. They've seen significant upheaval this offseason, with key veterans like Milton Williams, Josh Sweat, Mekhi Becton, and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson all departing in free agency.
Ultimately, the Eagles will have to make major strides with their young players and draft picks if they're going to have a chance at defending their title. Luckily for them, Sirianni will lead the way in developing those players for years to come.
