NFL Rumors: Saints & Packers Linked To Midseason Trade
The New Orleans Saints are searching for answers after an 0-3 start, and one solution could be adding another wide receiver to help stabilize their struggling offense.
According to Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay, the Saints should target Romeo Doubs of the Green Bay Packers, who may be available with his contract set to expire after this season.

Saints & Packers linked to midseason trade
New Orleans has already added Devaughn Vele and Ja’Lynn Polk this year, but Spencer Rattler still lacks reliable playmakers to lean on. Through three games, Rattler has put up decent numbers with 639 yards and four touchdowns, yet the offense has produced just 47 points.
Bringing in Doubs, who has logged 121 yards and a touchdown on limited targets this year, could provide a much-needed steady presence on the outside.
One of the most under-discussed stories in the NFL is Romeo Doubs’ journey. After facing criticism for missing practices and games for his mental health, he's emerged as a top contributor for a hot packers team. pic.twitter.com/MyFyC06fFL

For the Packers, moving Doubs could make sense long term. With Jayden Reed and Christian Watson expected back from injury later this season and younger options like Matthew Golden developing, Green Bay’s wide receiver room remains crowded.
GM Brian Gutekunst may see value in flipping Doubs before the deadline, with a sixth-round pick being a rumored starting point. If Doubs keeps producing ahead of the trade deadline, however, his price could rise to a mid-round selection.
