NFL Trade Rumors: Bengals Reveal Asking Price For Trey Hendrickson

Cincinnati Bengals pass rusher Trey Hendrickson reacts during 2025 game.

The Cincinnati Bengals have set a clear bar for trade talks involving Trey Hendrickson.

League reporting indicates Cincinnati is seeking a young player who can help now and in the future along with a future mid-round draft pick.

That framework reflects Hendrickson’s value as a four-time Pro Bowler who posted 17.5 sacks in each of the past two seasons and has opened this year with steady pressure numbers.

Why Cincinnati could deal the Pro Bowl pass rusher

Context matters for any move. Cincinnati’s offense has been without Joe Burrow for a stretch and the team has battled a rough run of results.

Hendrickson pushed to play through a recent hip and back issue but sat for the short week. With his deal reworked into a one-year, big-money setup and free agency looming, the Bengals must consider a present push versus his long-term value.

If wins return, the price likely stays firm and he remains their top defensive piece. If losses mount, a package that meets the ask could shift the conversation before the Nov. 4 deadline.

A deal will not be cheap given Hendrickson’s production and motor. The ask for a younger roster piece plus a draft chip proves Cincinnati’s intent to contend again quickly while protecting its future.
