NFL Rumors: Ex-Patriots Star Stefon Diggs Linked to AFC North Team

The New England Patriots made a major decision early this offseason, as they decided to release star wide receiver Stefon Diggs. This was after the 32-year-old had four touchdowns, 85 receptions, and 1,013 receiving yards in 17 games during his lone season as a member of the Patriots.

While Diggs is one of the top players who hit the free-agent market this offseason, he has still yet to find his new home with the middle of April here. Although this is the case, it is very likely that the four-time Pro Bowler will end up getting signed before the season is here.

When looking at potential suitors for Diggs, there is no question that the Baltimore Ravens stick out in a big way.

The Ravens absolutely need to improve at the wide receiver position, and bringing in a player like Diggs would help them do just that. He would immediately become a major part of the Ravens' offense if signed and could thrive having a star quarterback like Lamar Jackson throwing him the ball.

With the Ravens needing another impactful wide receiver, they will certainly be a team to keep an eye on when it comes to Diggs as the offseason carries on. The fit looks great on paper, and it will be fascinating to see if the Ravens can successfully sign him from here.
