After being released by the New England Patriots, Stefon Diggs remains a free agent at this point in the offseason. Yet, when noting that he is one of the top wide receivers still available for the taking in free agency and has a strong resume, it should not take him too much longer to find his next home.
One team that needs to be watched incredibly closely when it comes to Diggs is the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins need to improve at the wide receiver position, so it would not be surprising if they worked hard to sign the former Patriots star before the start of the season.
If Diggs signed with the Dolphins, he would immediately become one of their top offensive weapons for next season. As a result of this, it would make a lot of sense if the Dolphins tried to sign him to a short-term deal as they look to be better in 2026.
However, with Diggs being one of the top free agents, the Dolphins are not the only team being linked to him. Other teams that have been connected to Diggs include the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers, and Tennessee Titans have all been linked to him this offseason.
Yet, it will be interesting to see if the Dolphins end up being the team that signs Diggs from here. The fit looks very strong on paper.
