Stefon Diggs Getting Interest From 5+ Teams As Camp Nears
Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, at least five teams have recently checked in on the 32-year-old four-time Pro Bowler.
Fowler did not reveal which clubs make up that list or how likely any of them are to move forward with a deal.
The Teams To Watch
While the identities of the interested teams are unknown, the Ravens, Chiefs, and Commanders came up as rumored suitors during the spring.
The Ravens and Commanders both have location on their side, as Diggs is a Gaithersburg, Maryland native who played his college ball at the University of Maryland.
Fowler specifically pointed to the Commanders and noted the Ravens as a team that often attacks late free agency.

• At least 5 teams who need a WR have been checking in on Diggs
• Looking at the Commanders as an suitor, notes they are looking for “more of a speed option”
• Does not believe Brandon Aiyuk is an option “at this stage”…
Washington has been linked to the 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk more than any other receiver, but Aiyuk has not played since tearing his ACL, MCL, and meniscus in October 2024, which could push the Commanders toward a healthier option like Diggs.
The Texans have also been floated as a potential reunion spot, given Diggs spent 2024 in Houston with C.J. Stroud and head coach DeMeco Ryans still in place.
Why He's Worth The Call
Diggs proved last season he can still play at a high level.
He returned from a 2024 torn ACL to post 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns in 17 regular-season games with the New England Patriots, adding 14 catches for 110 yards and a touchdown in the postseason as New England reached the Super Bowl.
The Patriots released him for cap reasons before acquiring A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs.
His legal situation is also resolved, as a Boston jury acquitted him of assault charges on May 5, and the NFL closed its investigation on June 12 without a suspension, clearing the runway for a team to sign him ahead of camp.
Diggs himself remains supremely confident, recently declaring on his YouTube channel that no team has a No. 2 receiver better than him.
There is a belief in his camp that he will be even better in 2026 now that he is fully healthy and no longer managing a snap count tied to his ACL recovery.
With his talent, his clean bill of legal health, and camps approaching, expect a team to give Diggs a chance in the coming weeks.
