New Trade Landing Spot Floated For Cardinals' Marvin Harrison Jr.
Insider Albert Breer thinks the New England Patriots could be worth watching if the price is right.
Speaking on 98.5 The Sports Hub's Zolak & Bertrand, Breer said he dug into what's gone wrong with people who've coached Harrison.
"What kept coming up was a toughness issue," Breer said. "To be a bigger receiver in the NFL, you have to be really rugged. I think the question with him now is as a bigger target, is he rugged enough to play at a high level in the NFL?"
Vrabel Specifically Came Up
Breer pointed to head coach Mike Vrabel as someone uniquely positioned to reach Harrison.
"So who can get through to him on the toughness part of it? Mike Vrabel would probably be one of the guys who could," Breer said. "It's something I would consider, because I think if they're willing to give him up for like a Day 3 pick... that's where it might be worth taking the flyer."

Part of the logic ties back to Vrabel's own background at Ohio State, where Harrison starred before entering the league.
"Mike Vrabel is going to be privy to the best information on Marvin Harrison because of where he went to school," Breer said, noting Vrabel's familiarity with Ohio State staff like Brian Hartline, Harrison's position coach in college, and head coach Ryan Day.
New England Could Use The Help
Patriots receiver A.J. Brown is dealing with a high ankle sprain, and Breer framed the appeal in practical terms.
"A.J. Brown is, you want him to be your number one when he comes back, and then maybe he's your number one for another year. But then you don't have an answer beyond that."
Pairing a bigger target like Harrison with quarterback Drake Maye, taken one pick after Harrison in the 2024 draft, could also unlock more of the traits that made him a unanimous All-American and Biletnikoff Award winner at Ohio State.
Harrison posted 62 catches for 885 yards and eight touchdowns as a rookie in 2024, then regressed to 41 catches on 73 targets for 608 yards and four touchdowns last season.
Whether Arizona would even be willing to part with a former top-five pick this early in his career remains an open question, but the idea has clearly started circulating.
