NFL Rumors: Saints' Alvin Kamara Arrested in Vegas After Pro Bowl

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Except when you get arrested, that kind of stuff follows around for awhile. Unfortunately one person who knows this is New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara after he was arrested over the weekend on a felony charge alleging he beat and injured a person at a Las Vegas nightclub.

Kamara has since been freed from jail after his battery arrest and court and jail records showed Kamara posted bond on Monday and was released from the Clark County Detention Center. He now has a date to circle on his calendar as March 8 he'll head to court on a charge of battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.

So far it's not known who is attorney will be but there's some serious work to be done. A conviction on the charge could fetch the star Saint to one to five years in state prison. LVPD say a person at a hospital on Saturday reported having been beaten up at the nightclub and the detectives involved went on to determine it was Kamara as the culprit.

So far there's been no statement from Kamara or the Saints. He did play in the Pro Bowl game and then was arrested on Sunday. On the field he's a star as he had 1,337 yards from scrimmage and nine TDs. He was selected to his fifth Pro Bowl in five seasons in the league. Off the field, innocent until proven guilty.
