NFL Rumors: Tom Brady Hasn't Ruled Out a Comeback

Tom Brady has been retired for like three days and he's already talking about a comeback. Brady was asked recently if he thought down the road he could see himself playing football again and his response has people surprised.

Brady, who has now become quite the podcaster, took to his Let's Go show and had this to say about retiring permanently from the game he loves and has dedicated so much of his life too:

I'm just going to take things as they come. I think that's the best way to put it. You never say never. At the same time, I feel very good about my decision. I don't know how I'll feel six months from now. It may change, it most likely won't, but I try to make the best possible decision I can in the moment, which I did this last week. I think it's not looking to reverse course, I'm definitely not looking to do that. But, at the same time, I think you have to be realistic that you never know what challenges there are going to be in life. I love playing, I'm looking forward to doing things other than playing, that's as honest as I can be. It's certainly not that I can't play or continue to play, but I think there's an important choice for me to make. Everything certainly comes at a cost, and the cost is what am I missing out on other aspects of my life. As you get older, you experience things that are outside of this sport that demand a level of attention and energy that football has always gotten. It's time for me to commit to those types of things.
At 44 years old, Brady walked away from the NFL after throwing for a league-leading 5,316 passing yards and 43 touchdowns in 2021. Talk about going out at the top of your game...
