NFL Rumors: Washington Commanders Latest Investigation Details

The Washington Commanders have launched an independent investigation after allegations were made against owner Dan Snyder citing he sexually harassed a team employee more than a decade ago.

The Commanders provided limited details on Wednesday but did make mention that Debra Won Yang, a former U.S attorney and California state judge will lead the probe.

This unfortunately isn't the first time this sort of thing has taken place in Washington as the NFL has fined the Commanders $10 million and Snyder temporarily turned over the day-to-day operations of the team to his wife, Tanya. This was the result of a previous investigation after the allegations of sexual harassment were running wild in their work place.

This time around though is much more specific against Snyder and not the team as a whole. It's obvious there's been a toxic working environment for years and it's great to see things are slowly getting fixed and those responsible are paying for their actions.

Snyder has consistently denied any allegation and calls them all 'outright lies' so we will have to wait and see what kind of work his attorney, Jordan Siev can pull off for the owner. The Commanders announced it has hired the consulting firm Pallas Global Group LLC to oversee this latest probe and Yang will lead the way. Not the greatest start to a new Commander era in Washington.
