Jaguars Re-Sign Offensive Lineman

The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed Tyler Shatley to a two-year deal. It can worth up to $6.8 million and guarantees to pay him $2.35 million.

Shatley has spent the entirety of his NFL career with the Jaguars, and that will continue to be the case after signing this deal. Over the course of eight seasons with the team, he has played in 111 total games. Needless to say, he's a very familiar face who has become a nice part of their offensive line.

Shatley played in 17 games with the Panthers this past season, too. He primarily played this center, but his versatility allowed him to take over other spots, too. Overall, he is just a very useful player to have on the roster, so it's wise that they have signed him for two more years.

The Jaguars finished this past season with a 3-14 record. Needless to say, they will be looking to take a big step forward this upcoming season. In their eyes, they view Shatley as a piece to help them with that.
