NFL Rumors: Browns Interested In Seahawks QB

According to Mary Kay Cabot, the Cleveland Browns are expected to pursue Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

It's been noted that the Browns are considering making an upgrade at the quarterback position. Although they are open to keeping Baker Mayfield as their starter, they are not against bringing in a bigger talent if possible. In 14 games this season, he threw 17 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, and 3,010 yards. With that, he sported a 6-8 record.

If the Browns are able to land Wilson, it would be a major move for them. Although he had a bit of a down year for his standards, he still played very well. In 14 starts, he threw 25 touchdowns, six interceptions, and 3,113 yards. The 6-8 record is one he'd like to forget, but he will have the chance to rebound in 2022 - whether it's with the Seahawks, Browns, or elsewhere.

Don't be surprised to see Cleveland linked to several different quarterbacks as the offseason continues to carry on. It will be fun to see if they end up making a big change at the position.
