NFL Rumors: Teams Calling Seahawks About Star Receiver

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf is reportedly getting a lot of interest from around the league. The Kansas Chiefs, New England Patriots, and Green Bay Packers have all made a push to acquire the star wide receiver.

Yet, it's also important to note that the Seahawks aren't actively shopping Metcalf. Although they already made a major splash by trading Russell Wilson, they are fully content with the idea of keeping Metcalf on their roster for the 2022 campaign. However, if one of these three teams sends them a big enough offer, perhaps they could finalize a move.

In 17 games this season, Metcalf had 12 touchdowns, 75 receptions, and 967 total yards. Overall, it was another very strong season from the 24-year-old, and he will be looking to build on it in 2022 - whether that's with the Seahawks or elsewhere.

Nevertheless, this will be an intriguing sweepstakes to pay attention to as we get deeper into the offseason. Yet, as of right now, it seems more likely that Metcalf will remain a Seahawk for next season.
