NFL Rumors: Ravens Blockbuster Trade Sets Off Lamar Jackson

The Baltimore Ravens pulled off a blockbuster trade at the NFL draft as they send wide receiver Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown and a third-round pick (No.100 overall) to the Arizona Cardinals for the 23rd overall pick. Needless to say Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was pissed off with the news.

The ironic part of it all is the fact the Ravens traded the 23rd pick to the Buffalo Bills for the 25th overall selection and ended up selecting a center to protect Jackson. As for Brown he heads to the Cardinals where quarterback Kyler Murray and he will join forces as Murray has been trying to get management to make the move for over two years now:

Kyler has wanted 'Hollywood' Brown for a couple years and he's as happy as I've ever seen him - Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury via Pat McAfee Show
'Hollywood' is coming off his first career 1,000-yard season in 2021. He operated as a vertical threat throughout his three seasons in Baltimore after the team drafted him 25th overall in 2019 with the hopes that he'd develop into an elite playmaker. Turns out a few years later everything changed and let's just say the Ravens are a fragile bunch at the moment and Jackson's future is now in jeopardy.
