New York Jets Rookie Shows Amazing Speed In Joint Practice

The New York Jets have been looked down upon for quite some time, and even if the wider NFL audience aren't paying attention, General Manager Joe Douglas has quietly rebuilt this team with plenty of solid additions. The 2022 off-season was the icing on the cake, as he added many difference makers, some through the draft like Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner, but in practice today, second round pick Breece Hall showed that he's not one to forget when it comes to the future of Gang Green.

The Jets were hosting the Atlanta Falcons for a joint practice, and while the Jets from all reports got the best of the day, with the two other rookies mentioned above, as well as Elijah Moore making plays, it was Breece Hall who stole the show, with what would have been a 75-yard Touchdown run on the Falcons defence. Sure, it's only practice, but given how few highlights the Jets have had over the past few years, this is one that completely lit Twitter up.

The Jets still have a ways to go before they are seen as competitive in the AFC, but if Zach Wilson gets back and can distribute the ball to all of these new weapons, this is a team that becomes very hard to beat. Either way, Breece Hall has been a huge highlight for the Jets in training camp thus far, and if he can show off this speed and elusiveness in games when they start to matter, we could be looking at a potential Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2022.
