Raiders Sign Former New York Jets Receiver To The Practice Squad

In an off-season full of splashes, the Las Vegas Raiders potentially made the biggest one, as they traded for Green Bay Packers receiver, and arguably the best in the game, Davante Adams, who joins an offensive skill group highlighted by Josh Jacobs, Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller. While that seems incredibly dangerous for opposing defence's, depth is something that always needs to be addressed, and after getting the stars together this off-season, the Raiders have done just that today too.

After signing and releasing him earlier in the off-season, the Raiders have again signed former Jaguar and Jet Keelan Cole, this time to the practice squad. Cole went un-drafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, but since that point in his 5-seasons in the league, he's put up more than solid numbers, with just short of 2,700 receiving yards and 13 Touchdown's to his name, he's become a great player in the league, with the potential to be a fantastic No. 3 if he can find a long-term home in the NFL.

It's unclear whether that home can be with the Raiders, but for now, it's the next step for Cole in his NFL journey, and whether he makes the team as a depth wide receiver or a special teams star, Keelan Cole has way too much talent to not be on an NFL roster, and the Raiders could certainly use someone like this to help their very talented offence in 2022.
