Lions Running Back Likely To Miss Week 5

The Detroit Lions have been shocking the NFL through four weeks, as they've produced the No. 1 offence in the NFL, and even while missing D'Andre Swift and Amon-Ra St. Brown in Week 4, the team continued to put up amazing numbers. Unfortunately, they also possess the No. 32 ranked defence in the NFL, and if that t rend continues, it's going to be a very frustrating year for a talented team, and especially the loyal Detroit fans.

Week 5 sees the 1-3 Lions look to continue their hot offensive run as they aim to bounce back and get into the win column, but if they are to do that, it will likely be without Swift, who is on pace to miss his second straight game early in the season with a shoulder injury, and the potential plan could be to hold him out until after the Week 7 bye.

Through three weeks, the young third year back had 231 rushing yards with 1 Touchdown, and if the team can win a few games before he gets back, this is a Lions squad that could and should push for a Wild Card spot in 2022, which is better than most expected before the season.
