Panthers Listening To Trade Offers On Star Running Back

The Carolina Panthers, while not expected to be a force in 2022, have certainly disappointed through five weeks, and with the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator fired after another loss, sending their record to 1-4, it was only a matter of time until the teams star players started receiving trade interest. Whether or not that is to be reciprocated on all of those players like D.J. Moore, Jaycee Horn and others is yet to be seen, but one player we can now confirm the Panthers are open to dealing is former All-Pro running back, Christian McCaffrey.

With such a high price tag on his salary and injury concerns, no deal is going to come easy for teams looking to deal with Carolina, as they won't just be giving players away, but if a team approaches with the right price and is flexible, with the likes of Buffalo, Baltimore and Miami all feasibly interested, a bidding war could ensue.

While he may not be playing at the level he once was before the injuries, through five weeks, No. 22 has put up over 500 all purpose yards to go along with 3 Touchdowns, and if he can move to an elite team like the ones mentioned above, he could transform them from contender to favourite in an instant.
