Bills Star Cornerback Inactive For Week 9
The Buffalo Bills have been fantastic in the first eight weeks of the 2022 NFL season, leading the AFC with a 6-1 record, and ahead of their battle with the New York Jets, they were somewhat optimistic that All-Pro cornerback Tre'Davious White could make his return after suffering an ACL injury during the 2021 season.
Unfortunately, despite a somewhat limited return, he just hasn't been able to get to 100%, and even though he ended up travelling with the team to New Jersey, he will be inactive for the game, as he needs more time to recover from the knee surgery. In his absence, the Bills defensive unit has been more than solid, but whenever he returns, this team could take it to the next level.#Bills CB Tre-Davious White will be inactive today against the #Jets, sources say. After being activated to the roster last week, White is a healthy scratch as he continues to work his way back from ACL surgery.

Beyond that, the team is missing safety Jordan Poyer and Matt Milano, and ahead of a matchup with a very talented 5-3 New York Jets team, they'll need to be at their best on both sides of the ball to walk out of there with a 7-1 record and a continued grasp on first place in the AFC.
