Several Packers Confirmed As Active For Week 9

The Green Bay Packers season thus far has been underwhelming to say the least, and with a high-flying Vikings team taking control of the NFC North, they'll need to be extraordinary throughout the back half of 2022 if they wish to get back into the race and potentially make a Wild Card spot.

Unfortunately, they've been hit hard by the injury bug too, with several players missing at different points throughout the year, but today, they've received some fantastic news, as Allen Lazard, Preston Smith, David Bakhtiari, Elgton Jenkins and Christian Watson are all active and ready to go in Week 9.

The team will match up against the 1-win Detroit Lions on the road, and with a 3-5 record, including a 4 game losing streak heading into this one, it may be the Packers most important game of the year, but the Lions aren't the pushover team that a 1-6 record may suggest. If the season is to be saved, the Packers will need to be better on both sides of the ball, and with Aaron Rodgers at Quarterback, this team can never be counted out, but with a divisional game up and a season hanging in the balance, this is a must-win game for Green Bay.
