Packers Rookie Receiver Carted To Locker Room

The Green Bay Packers have struggled mightily over the past month, losing four straight games to drop their 2022 record to just 3-5, and a big part of that is the lack of talented weapons on the outside, so the last thing this team wanted was to see one of their active skill position players leave a game with an injury.

That's what has just happened however, as rookie receiver Romeo Doubs has been carted off the field to the locker room, with his return to the game questionable at the moment. On the season, Doubs has 30 catches for 296 yards and 3 Touchdowns, and even with Allen Lazard and Christian Watson both active for this one, it's tough to lose any depth on the outside.

The Packers are locked in a tough battle with the 1-win Detroit Lions, and if they fall in this one, their playoff push could be over in 2022, but right now, it looks like their young rookie receiver may not return to this one, so Rodgers and co. will have to take down the Lions without one of their key young weapons.
