San Francisco 49ers Sign Veteran Cornerback To Practice Squad

The San Francisco 49ers are finally getting healthy, and with Nick Bosa and others to come back in the coming weeks, this is a team that could be incredibly dangerous come playoff time, and today, they made another move to sure up their defence before postseason time rolls around.

Today, the team officially announced the signing of veteran cornerback Janoris Jenkins, a former All-Pro who has spent a decade in the NFL, and while he's not going to join this elite defence as a starter immediately, he's going to play a solid role for them and be a great veteran in the locker room.

Over his career, Jenkins has racked up 576 tackles, 2 sacks, 7 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries and 27 Interceptions that resulted in 10 defensive Touchdowns over that time, and at 34-years of age, he has plenty left to offer, and should contribute significantly to this team down the stretch.
