Veteran Receiver Likely To Make 2022 Debut In Week 9

Many thought that the career of DeSean Jackson was likely over after his stint in Las Vegas, but a few weeks ago, the former Eagles star was signed by the Baltimore Ravens, and now that Rashod Bateman has been placed on Injured Reserve and will miss the rest of the 2022 season, it appears that Jackson will finally get a chance to make his 2022 debut in Week 9.

The Ravens will matchup with the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football, in what should be a thrilling clash of two talented teams, and adding a deep threat like Jackson will give Lamar Jackson another massive weapon, and if Gus Edwards and Mark Andrews can both be healthy for this contest, it's going to be a great show.

Jackson hauled in 20 passes for 444 yards and 2 Touchdown's a year ago with the Rams and Raiders, and while he's not quite the threat he once was, he will be a solid replacement for Bateman, and his ability to stretch the field will give this Ravens team an element of balance that they haven't had in quite some time, so his arrival will certainly be a welcomed sight.
