NFL Rumors: Jaguars TE Wants to Sign Long-Term Extension

According to Michael DiRocco, Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram is open to signing a long-term deal to stay with the team.

Engram joined the Jaguars this offseason after completing a five-year tenure with the New York Giants. Overall, he has worked quite nicely in Jacksonville, and the truth is in his stats. In 14 games thus far, he has four touchdowns, 61 receptions, and 610 receiving yards. Naturally, the Jaguars would likely love to keep him around, too.

It will be intriguing to see if Engram and the Jaguars can come to terms on a new deal from here. Alas, this is something to keep an eye on moving forward.
