Titans Rule Out Cornerback For Week 16 With Concussion

Out for Saturday's game.

The Tennessee Titans have ruled out cornerback Josh Thompson for Saturday's game against the Houston Texans.

Thompson reportedly suffered a concussion during Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, and it appears he was not able to clear the league's concussion protocols in time for this weekend.

The twenty-four-year-old has played almost exclusively on special teams this season, recording four total tackles over five games. Regardless, his absence will be missed, as there was a good chance he was going to get more involved this week with the Titans dealing with lots of defensive injuries.
