Update On Jets Running Back

He was a healthy scratch last week.

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that ''no one has seen the last of'' running back James Robinson. However, Saleh still would not commit to Robinson playing on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

The frustration with the situation is obvious with the running back, who was upset about being benched in Week 12, ''obviously, I didn't come here not to play.''

With Robinson on the bench last week, rookie Zonovan Knight made his NFL debut and racked up 103 total scrimmage yards.

However, fellow running back Michael Carter is questionable to play this week against the Vikings with an ankle injury. If he does indeed miss this week, it would seem likely that Robinson gets inserted back into a starting role.

Since joining the Jets, the twenty-four-year-old has 75 rushing yards and no touchdowns on 25 attempts over three games.
