Los Angeles Rams Jalen Ramsey Opts For Offseason Surgery

Los Angeles Rams star cornerback Jalen Ramsey will undergo surgery this offseason on his right shoulder.

Ramsey claimed that he could have played if the Rams had made the playoffs, but will now undergo surgery on the injured AC joint in his right arm.

The twenty-eight-year-old had the same surgery last summer, except it was on his left AC joint that time. He had tried to let the shoulder injury heal without surgery but that didn't work.

In 17 games this season, Ramsey had 88 total tackles, two sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, four interceptions and 18 passes defended. 

The former first-round pick should be ready for the start of the 2023 season.
