Philadelphia Eagles Pass Rusher Returns To The Facility On Wednesday

Lost in the tragedy that occurred on Monday Night Football was the scary injury suffered by Philadelphia Eagles pass rusher Josh Sweat in their Week 17 loss to New Orleans, as he was taken to hospital with a neck injury during the game.

Thankfully, it was confirmed that he was fine after the game, and has now officially returned to the Eagles facility as of Wednesday, and while it seems highly unlikely that he will play in Week 18, the possibility of Philly getting a bye in Week 1 of the playoffs will certainly help his availability.

Sweat is having a fantastic season for a great Eagles defence in 2022, as he has improved his sack total every year since 2019, with 4, 6, 7.5 and now 11 this season, and if he can return for the playoffs, this is a team that will be tough to stop as they seek the second Super Bowl in franchise history.
