San Francisco 49ers DC Emerges As Favourite For Houston Texans Head Coach Job

Yesterday, reports came out that the Denver Broncos ideal pick for their next Head Coach would be the San Francisco 49ers Defensive Coordinator DeMeco Ryans, and today, it appears they've got plenty of competition, as the Houston Texans are zeroing in on him as well.

Ryans served as a linebacker in Houston from 2006-2011, and still has ties to the area, so while the Broncos remain interested, it appears the Texans are now the favourite to land his services, and will schedule an interview with him next week following the NFC Championship Game.

With two picks in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, it's clear that this team has a very bright future, and with Ryans experience as a defensive minded coach, there's a very good chance they can take a big step forward.
