Carolina Panthers Request To Interview Broncos DC

The Carolina Panthers made the shock decision a few weeks ago to announce their next Head Coach as former Panthers Quarterback Frank Reich, and now, it appears they're going all out to build a solid staff around him for the 2023 season. 

They've already inquired about Vic Fangio, who ended up taking the job in Miami after all, and now, the team has officially requested to interview current Denver Broncos Defensive Coordinator Ejiro Evero, but given the attention he's received as a future Head Coach, a lateral move may not be on the cards for him.

The #Panthers requested an interview with #Broncos defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero for their DC job, per source. Carolina previously interviewed Evero for their head coaching job and he impressed. The #Vikings want to interview him for DC, too.

His Broncos were absolutely elite on the defensive end in 2022, and if Carolina could somehow land him, it would be a massive move, but only time will tell whether he wants a lateral move, or whether he sticks in Denver.
