Los Angeles Rams Interview Former Jets Coach For OL Coach Role

The Los Angeles Rams had an incredibly disappointing 2022 season, failing to reach the post-season the year after capturing yet another Super Bowl, but now, they've got their eyes set on a massive bounce back in 2023.

The first move they made this off-season was to hire former New York Jets Offensive Coordinator Mike LaFleur, and now they've followed it up by offering an interview for their former Offensive Line Coach John Benton, who worked with LaFleur in New York.

Former #Jets OL coach John Benton is expected to interview for the same job on the #Rams staff, source said. He worked with new OC Mike LaFleur at NYJ, so plenty of familiarity.

While it will never be a flashy signing, Benton has done great work in the past, and if they can bring him in along with their talent along the line, as well as the most important key, their health, they'll once again be a major threat in the NFC West.
