Mutual Interest Between San Francisco 49ers And Starting Tackle On A Reunion

The San Francisco 49ers may have fallen one game short of the Super Bowl, but they have once again proven to be an elite power in the NFL, and if they can nail the upcoming off-season, they'll find themselves playing big games in January and perhaps February again next year.

First things first this off-season is to solidify the Quarterback position, but beyond that, protecting their young starter whether it be Lance or Purdy will be key, and to do that, they'll be looking to bring back Mike McGlinchey, who has a mutual interest in returning to the team that drafted him No. 9 overall back in 2018.

He made the All-Rookie team back in 2018, and while he hasn't been a star since then, he's been a solid, dependable starter in the 64 games he's played, and with Trent Williams on the other side, this gives them one of the best tackle duos in the NFL.
