New York Jets Center Wants To Return To Team In 2023

The New York Jets have had plenty of problems in recent years, and while Quarterback has easily been the biggest of all, the protection up front certainly hasn't helped either, so when they find a consistent starter up front, it make sense for the team to keep them around.

Connor McGovern was signed in free agency back in 2020, and has started in 48 of a possible 50 games over that time, and while he hasn't been a top-10 centre over that time, he's been more than solid, and in recent times, he's expressed a desire to return to New York for the 2023 season.

I just spoke with Connor McGovern & he wanted to make it clear that he wants to continue his career w/ the #Jets.

The Jets have plenty of decisions to make this off-season, and filling out their offensive line will be one of the most important, so if they can bring McGovern back on a cheap veteran deal, it will help their playoff push in a big way.
