NFL Rumors: San Francisco Unlikely To Match Contract For Right Tackle

The San Francisco 49ers fell agonizingly short of reaching yet another Super Bowl, but with an elite defence, they have a chance to take that next step in 2023 if they can nail this off-season, with plenty of key players becoming free agents in the coming weeks.

One major name that comes to mind is Mike McGlinchey, their starting right tackle who's become an anchor for this offensive line, but given that he's likely to command $15 million on the market, it's believed that the 49ers are unlikely to match that.

With Trent Williams on the left and plenty of other veterans along the line, the team still has a chance to get better, especially through the draft, and if they can stay healthy throughout the year, this will be a favourite in the NFC once again.
