Panthers Hire New Passing Game Coordinator; Worked With Reich In Indianapolis

Reunited.

The Carolina Panthers have hired Parks Frazier as their new passing game coordinator.

Frazier is back working with Panthers head coach Frank Reich after the two worked together with the Indianapolis Colts from 2018-22.

Frazier opened the 2022 season as the assistant quarterbacks coach under Reich but was promoted to interim offensive coordinator during Jeff Saturday's tenure as head coach.

During his time calling plays, Parks led the Colts offense to 27th in the league in early down pass rate (43.5%) but was 10th in EPA per dropback (0.145).

Unfortunately, some very poor quarterback play led the team to averaging just 172 passing yards per game.

Reich clearly thinks highly of Frazier and enjoys working with him, so this reunion isn't a complete shock.
