Chicago Bears Trading The No. 1 Overall Pick In The 2023 NFL Draft

After finishing with the worst record in the NFL in 2022, the Chicago Bears landed the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft, and after committing to Justin Fields as the future of the franchise, it appeared only a matter of time until they traded out of the No. 1 spot.

Today, that move officially came, as the Chicago Bears have now officially traded back from that spot with the Carolina Panthers in exchange for the No. 9 overall pick a 2024 first-round pick, as well as the No. 61 pick in 2023, a second-round pick in 2025 and star wide receiver D.J. Moore.

This is a massive haul for Chicago, as they are still in position to draft a big time weapon for Justin Fields, while also acquiring a legitimate No. 1 in the NFL, and for Carolina, they find themselves in a position now to draft their Quarterback of the future.
