NFL Rumors: Cincinnati Bengals Meet With Free Agent Tight End

The Cincinnati Bengals have hosted free agent tight end Foster Moreau for a visit, according to reports.

Moreau's rookie contract with the Las Vegas Raiders has expired, and despite starting whenever Darren Waller was injured and receiving reps as a blocker even when Waller was active, the Raiders have not brought him back.

In the 2022 season, Moreau recorded 33 catches for 420 yards and two touchdowns. The Bengals, who recently lost starting tight end Hayden Hurst to the Carolina Panthers, are now in need of a new starter.

Moreau could potentially step into an every-down role with the team and would not be an expensive signing.

Entering his fifth NFL season, the 25-year-old has recorded 91 receptions for 1,107 yards and 12 touchdowns on 132 targets across 61 games played.

Moreau is also a former teammate of Joe Burrow.
