Tennessee Titans Sign Former Texans Wide Receiver

The Tennessee Titans have recently announced the signing of wide receiver Chris Moore, who was a free agent after playing for the Houston Texans for the past two seasons.

The 30-year-old had a breakout season in 2022, with 48 receptions for 548 yards and two touchdowns, which were all career highs.

With his experience playing for the Baltimore Ravens and Texans, Moore brings decent skill and versatility to the Titans' receiving corps. Although he may not be considered an elite receiver, his production last season demonstrates his potential to make an impact for the Titans.

Moore will join a Titans' receiver group that includes Treylon Burks, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, and Kyle Philips. However, the Titans are expected to add more depth to the position during the upcoming NFL Draft, which could affect Moore's playing time and role on the team.

Additionally, the Titans' emphasis on their run game could limit Moore's opportunities to surpass his career-high numbers from last season.

Nonetheless, Moore's experience and skills make him a solid addition to the Titans' roster and an improvement over some of their current options at the position. Photo Credit: Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports
