Carolina Panthers Sign Free Agent Wide Receiver

Free agent wide receiver and kick returner, Marquez Stevenson, has recently embarked on a new chapter in his football journey.

After recovering from a foot injury he sustained during his time with the Buffalo Bills, Stevenson joined the Cleveland Browns' practice squad in December. The Browns recognized his potential and signed him to a reserve/future contract in January, indicating their belief in his talent.

Unfortunately, recent reports revealed that the Browns had decided to waive Stevenson. However, despite this setback, Stevenson's exceptional skills on special teams have not gone unnoticed.

The Carolina Panthers, recognizing his potential and seeking to bolster their roster, quickly seized the opportunity and have now signed Stevenson.

Now, Stevenson aims to make an impact and secure a spot on the team before the start of training camp this summer. With his special teams prowess and determination, Stevenson is poised to contribute to the Panthers' wide receiver corps while also showcasing his return abilities.

The 25-year-old is a former sixth-round pick by the Buffalo Bills in the 2021 NFL Draft.
