Denver Broncos Sign Top XFL Quarterback

Former standout XFL quarterback Ben DiNucci, previously with the Dallas Cowboys, has reportedly signed with the Denver Broncos.

The details of the contract remain undisclosed at this time. Despite his limited NFL experience, appearing in three games for the Cowboys in 2020, DiNucci has gained recognition as a top quarterback in the XFL's 2022 season.

Playing for the Seattle Sea Dragons, he showcased his skills by becoming the league's top passer, throwing for 2,671 yards and scoring 20 touchdowns while completing 64.7% of his passes.

Notably, he also exhibited his mobility, scoring three rushing touchdowns.

Joining the Broncos, DiNucci faces an uphill battle to secure a spot on the team's 53-man roster, given the presence of established starter Russell Wilson and offseason acquisition Jarrett Stidham as the presumed backup.

However, the opportunity to compete for a place on the roster during training camp and preseason gives DiNucci a chance to prove himself.

At 26 years old, his determination and demonstrated abilities make him a compelling addition to the Broncos' quarterback lineup, providing depth and stability for the team. Photo Credit: Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports
